Like most life stories it is full of ups and downs, successes and failures. I am actually working on a book currently that just focuses on the last few years as well as a work of fiction that I wrote while living at the previous place.
I get asked that meditation question from time to time and my answer is always invariably something like this 'my entire life is a meditation from the moment I wake up, until the moment I fall asleep, while I dream and until the moment I wake up again' which is about as well as I can sum it up. In other words I live a 'purposeful' life and do not make it convoluted by dressing it up with a bunch of 'woo woo' lingo.
As far as that last bit goes (about lifestyle choices) it just feels right for me and living any other way is disastrous to my mental well-being and overall peace of mind. I thoroughly enjoy both the simplicity and challenges that it provides.
