I have set my main goals for the year and I have started to do a post every Friday about my progress on these goals.
To achieve these goals, I have set monthly targets that I will keep in place until the yearly goal has been achieved.
My latest posts about #myhivegoals, clearly show that I am actually ahead of schedule on many of my goals. But does that mean I am taking it easy now?
No. Not at all. I first decided on what I thought to be a realistic, achievable target for the year. Then I calculated what I should be doing each month to achieve my target for the year.
But every week I set a new weekly goal, based on what I have achieved the previous week. So, even if I keep my monthly targets as they are, I try to stretch myself with my weekly targets.
The sooner I can reach my yearly target, the sooner I can move on to my next medium-term goal/target and start working on that.
I consider weekly and monthly goals short-term, one- to three-year goals medium-term, and five- to ten-year goals long-term.
Who wouldn't like to complete his 5-year plan in 4, or even maybe 3 years?
So, in a similar fashion as doing update reports/posts on my progress of achieving these goals, I thought it over and decided to also do posts that will show my weekly targets in advance.
By also doing these weekly posts, showing my weekly targets in advance, I think it will have a two-fold advantage.
Firstly, although I am keeping my stats in Excell Spreadsheets, it will give me a place where I can have a weekly overview of the whole picture in one place (and on one page)...here on the blockchain.
Secondly, as transparency is the name of the game here on the Hive blockchain, I will share those targets with the community as well. This will also give a clear indication of my progress and how I set and achieve my pre-set weekly targets. It will give a clear indication in advance of newly set weekly targets and how I achieve them or not.
My Targets For This Week

I normally measure my results from Friday to Thursday the following week. I then capture my results on Friday and set my targets for the next week.
Let me know if you would like to follow this process (and progress), and I will continue to post these reports every week.
As this post is also part of the #ctpcontent challenge, this will then form part of my scheduled content for the challenge.
If you want to know more about the #ctpcontent challenge, you can find all the information you need here.
Thank you for reading my post and I wish you all success in reaching your targets and achieving your goals for this coming week!
