Is there anybody out there who says "I don't want to make it"...?
I strongly doubt that.
All of us wants to make it. The form or level of success for each individual might vary, but as a norm, we all want to make it.
For some, it's fine to live from paycheck to paycheck. Others want to be able to just live comfortably now (which also varies from person to person) while being able to put some money aside to enjoy retirement at some early age.
Then we also have people who want to do their own thing. They want to run a business or several businesses of their own or become the CEO of a large company. Amongst this group, you will often find the type of person who is not really interested in retirement. They love what they do
and they just seem to never run out of energy.
But there is one thing all these groups have in common. It doesn't matter which group you are looking at or which group you place yourself in; you have to make it work.
We often find people in the workplace who absolutely hate what they do.
This is especially true in the group that is living from paycheck to paycheck. But it even happens with people running their own businesses too. They either got involved in their particular industry just for the sake of making money, or they started with good intentions and it just didn't turn out the way they expected it to be.
This is indeed not a nice way of going through life. It often leads to having a negative mindset, stress, and even depression.
In my personal opinion, the only way I can see to solve this problem is to either find something in your daily activities and try to make it interesting or challenging (in a positive way) for yourself, or try to find another job which is more in line with your personality and interests.

It is one thing to go out there and just look for a job. To find something without paying attention to what you actually have to do, or who you have to work with. You just find something to do so that you can receive a paycheck by the end of the month.
However, it is something different to know what you love, what you enjoy and have a passion for, and then set out to find something you can do in line with that.
Even if you can't think of any form of work or business that will give you fulfillment and where you can live out your dream, it still comes down to what you are dreaming about.
Maybe your dreams don't involve a specific career of any kind. Maybe you would like to go on a tour around the world. Maybe you want to do some kind of expedition.

This is the time where you can just look for some form of work to do. Something that will enable you to receive a monthly paycheck that will allow you to start a savings plan to fund whatever it is you want to do.
In your free time, you might even go out and see if you can find companies who would be willing to sponsor you for whatever it is that you want to do.
I know about several programs that we often see on television, where people go on safari trips with 4 x 4 vehicles, and they get sponsored by the manufacturers of these vehicles to do reviews while they are going on these trips.
Other people do reviews on holiday resorts.
These people get paid for what they do while they are traveling and seeing the world.
While you are doing your research and searching for a company/companies to sponsor you, you can do other work to start saving some money. The fact that you have a specific purpose in mind why you are doing this work, and also knowing that you are not stuck there indefinitely, will make the work more bearable.
The fact is:

But you need to know what it is that you want to be doing eventually.
And this brings me to the actual point which I am referring to in the title of this post.
Whatever it is that you want to do...if you want to make it, remember this:
Dreams don't work unless you do. ~ John C. Maxwell
Yes, it's nice to know what you want. It's nice to have dreams. But unless you take action and start working towards those dreams, that is what they will remain...dreams.
Creating content is making up a big part of what I would love to do in the future. I will get more into detail in this regard in upcoming posts.
For now, I am also taking part in the #ctpcontent challenge and I am on day 4 now.
