This line made me laugh the person I was trying to impress was eating to her fill and there I was, hungry and truthful. :) and this one too Another situation similar to this was telling the truth to my teacher after I forgot to do an assignment in hopes that he'd reward my honesty but no, I was still punished in front of the whole class. Even yet, it's best that you were honest because if you had replied yes and the instructor had asked you to show it, your lies would have been exposed, and you would have been called a liar in front of your class.
