Jack Lantern - Alien Occupied - Sketch using color pencil

I chose to sketch a Jack O'Lantern because Halloween is almost approaching.

I've added a twist to my Jack O'Lantern to set it apart from other Halloween pumpkins on the internet.

I added a space alien to it.

Steps

The first thing I did is draw a rough sketch of how I wanted my Pumpkin to look.

After that, I outlined it with a gel pen. This part is difficult for me because there are so many suckers on the tentacles that I need to trace.

After the Gel Outline, I erased all of the pencil marks

Now that that the pencil lines are gone, I can start coloring the pumpkin

It's hard to color with colored pencil, my strokes need to be heavy so that the colors will be vibrant. What other colring materials can you suggest? drop a comment below.
