Celebrated a Birthday lunch at Swenson's Restaurant. For starters we ordered Carrot Soup. It was great as the soup was very thick, delicious and hot. Some restaurants do not serve their soup hot by the time it reaches your table. But these were hot and steaming which I loved it.
We ordered another appetiser which is the mozzarella cheese sticks. Crispy and cheesy. Good choice.
Meat Balls with Mashed potatoes was another sides we ordered from the menu. Did not expect such a big dish. Looks like we over ordered and will end up eating a lot for lunch.
Of course we must ordered our favourite which is the Crispy Chicken Sticks, very tasty and yummy.
For our main meals we had a Baked Chicken Rice with Cheese.
By now I am sure you would have caught on that Cheese is every ones favourite.
Next is the Breaded Chicken that comes with Coleslaws and French Fries. It was served with a dish of their special sauce.
We had also the BBQ Chicken that was served with Mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Of course since it is a Birthday, we ordered an Ice Cream Cake with 2 extra scoops of ice cream. Our favourite flavours which are Durian and Salted Gula Melaka.
Simply delicious as Swenson's is famous for their Ice Cream. Many many flavours and they are creamy and of the best quality.
