Still a little over a month to go so I'm sure that more will be added but as it stands this is where I am. Due to the stay at home orders and the COVID-19 pandemic in general I was able to pound out a lot more books than I would typically in a year. I set myself a book every 2 weeks challenge and blew it out of the water (58 Books!), well over a book a week and still building on that!
As one can tell I predominantly read SCI Fi/Fantasy with a side of comics and graphic novels and some cheap thrillers and occasional horror. It's fun. I like it. I read to escape reality, I've never been one to bring reality to me. I also have the habit of accumulating way more things to read in a year than I will ever get around to and even some things that I have no intention of ever getting too.
The majority of this yearly reading was done on my Kindle Paperwhite although some of it was done with physical copies.
I have a lifelong goal of One Thousand Books! It honestly doesn't sound that much but when laid out mathematically over time that becomes 50 books a year (almost one a week) for 20 years! That's a pretty solid clip. I currently sit at 427 so I've knocked out a solid chunk but I have over 10 years left of solid reading to go! Breaks for family holidays and life events built in I suppose.
See anything intriguing in my list for this year? Want to know how I felt about any of them or the genres, authors or reading in general? Let me know in the comments and I'll gladly respond!
Thanks again for your time and attention!
