As you may be aware bitcoin has reached a high point at around 2750 - 2840$ (sorce: poloniex)
Bitcoin has not been this high in a very long time and the spike from 1700$ to 2700$ which happened practically over night may have been a whale investing, if it was a whale all it rakes for the coin to drop by 1000$ iis for it to dump its share, therefore i would recommend that you do not invest currently as this or these person/group of people may just be sat waiting for the coin to go above 3000$ at which point if they dump you will loose alot of money
I am not a professional nor a analyst however i have just spoke my opinion and if you disagree then invest
i would recommend waiting until the price drops to 1800 - 2300$ before investing
