Good afternoon people,

Source

I really want to commend those of you that take out time to visit my blog. I really want to ensure i give out to the community what i know best thereby adding value to the community. It isn't compulsory you have a niche but it is cool you have a niche to help people know you for what you do.

For example @destinysaid writes about music,
@penauthor writes stories,
@soldier is a dancer and she uploads some of her dance videoes,
@michelle.gent writes stories,
@michaelcj is a dancer and he is the brain behind @steemcamp which features both dancing, singing and miss steem,
@pearlumie is a science student and he writes
@steemstem post( what i learnt this week series),
@jofomaja writes about marketing
@tfame3865 writes about gaming
@papa-pepper writes about homesteading and many more.

So you could pick up a niche and write about it.

Picking a Niche

When you are to pick a niche i suggest you pick something you feel you are good at. I presume everyone has the capacity to do more one thing . In as much you can do so many things i suggest you pick out something you are very good at and love doing at your leisure.

For example, I knew @penauthor some years back. I developed the interest of learning online marketing and businesses from him. He is a good business man i must confess but i observed over time that he loves writing stories more than doing online businesses. He could spend time telling you mind blowing business ideas but doesn't spend too much time executing them.

Nevertheless, he will spend hours writing stories, Ebooks and many writing related stuffs. When he started out on steemit, he writes mind blowing stories. I do think you should visit his blog.

Also, @destinysaid is a music producer. I have been to his house and i have seen some of his studio equipment. Check his blog you find out he uses dsound alot.

What they simply did was bringing the offline online. They brought what they love doing to to the platform. This implies that steemit pays you for being you.

Be yourself, be who you are. Never ever be the shy about what you do.

Let me take this opportunity to talk about @ewuoso. He has really been of great help to me through the steembees group on whatsapp. He rears livestock and sometimes he post pictures of himself with his animal. Yeah that's what it means to be original.

Nevertheless

If you don't have a niche, it's cool to make quality contents that should impact or add to the bulk of quality information that gets to steemit everyday. With this I feel you will grow faster in the platform. I don't know about people but I want to see originality and sincerity in peoples blog.

Hope this really helps someone especially out there.
Just as @julietisrael will say

God Bless the hustle of the newbies trying to get by in this island of steem
