coffee
spilled on the counter top
the blue and green marbled granite
unfortunate to say the least
dripping
all over the carpet
staining the frays and the places
where i used to play as a kid
the pure white sullied
couldn’t i have just spilled some milk
how do you even clean coffee out of a carpet?
