I don't know how people stick with that job especially the lower paying ones

The only reason is the visa. Nobody with any actually worthwhile abilities is going to work a full time job over in Asia for $1000 a month. I switched to part-time because while I don't seem to loathe it as much as you do, I would much rather do almost anything else for a living.

This is the only way to land a long-term visa without being hassled constantly though, so I think i've found a pretty decent deal. The school seems to like me and I get to come and go as I please. This will probably change as I get older though since I often feel as though I am simply a mascot for them to put in brochures and have me stand at assemblies like "hey, we have a highly-trained foreigner staff member!" I am not highly trained. I am barely trained, but I can put on a tie and some nice looking slacks and look the part.
