God I hated teaching. I don't know how people stick with that job especially the lower paying ones. I feel like teaching English in SE Asia is one of the biggest lies that are told to young people in the west and they all fall for it even though the internet is awash with stories of how awful it is.

no offense to you of course, it seems as though you kind of deal with it rather that love it. I don't know anyone that has ever "loved" that job. Even the people that I know that are paid very handsomely at international schools complain about it endlessly and always think the grass is going to be greener elsewhere even though it never is.

more to the point of what you are saying about AI in schools I gotta say that doesn't surprise me at all but I think the AI thing is going to go full circle and people will go back to the way it was before... but then again I use almost zero AI in my own life so what the hell do I know?
