I drew an angel with a child. With this I tried to express human vulnerability to physical and spiritual harm and the angel holds the child in his protection. There is a look of confidence and familiarity between the two since angels do guard us everyday and there's one angel for each of us, there is a bond between man and spirit.

Protection

Angels are often depicted as people with halos and wings but if you go deeper into study, they are pure light in form, they have no gender since they are spirit but they embody characteristics of gender like Arch angels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. Knowing they are sent by God to guide us and they are sent to be a light to push away darkness.

Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared. Give heed to him and hearken to his voice, do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your transgression; for my name is in him. “But if you hearken attentively to his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. “When my angel goes before you … and I blot them out. (Exodus 23:20-23)

God’s faithfulness is a protecting shield. You shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that roams in darkness, nor the plague that ravages at noon. For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways. With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. (Psalm 91:4-6, 11-12)

For Believers

Many religions such as judaism, Islam, Christians and Orthodox have belief in angels. Trust in your guardian and heed the voice. for in silence we hear God.

Angels are very powerful yet we often forget they are right beside us. Evil spirits can never overpower angels since God has given them power that cannot be overthrown. So develop your relationship with your angel and pray to your angel to be guided.
Think always of a candle light in dark room, a universe of darkness will never put out that light but that small light will always push darkness away.
