Mayang pula

We call them the red Maya or in English it's Chestnut Munia.
These birds flock every 4-5pm at the empty lot behind our house. An incentive to enjoy washing dishes because of these little cute visitors.

Chestnut munias are native to Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Hawaii.
