It's another Sunday! I thought I was going to do a post, a WAY different post (and I still might), but then I read a post by @bashadow and it had an intersection photo. It made me think back on how many I might have.
For mine, they were taken for various reasons, not because they were intersections, but for some other reason and the intersection just happened to be there.
These were fastly snapped from my phone camara AND from inside my car. On some I may have been moving, so no judging on quality... ya hear? 馃槃
Like this one where different levels of storm clouds were on the horizon and the setting sun shone through like fire between some of layers.
On this one I was trying to capture the giant moon, which doesn't look so giant in the photo, as like lots of times, it's hard to capture things like the eye sees them. It's straight ahead in the photo, but with the intersection lights and oncoming traffic lights it is nearly hiding.
This one was right after, not an intersection, but you can see the moon I was after better.
Most of these happened, because before covid, I had a 20 mile drive too and from work each day. I might have had a coffee drink keeping me company on the way there, but on the way home in the awful 5 o'clock traffic, I had nothing else to do as I waited endlessly it seemed, for the lights to turn green.
Nearly all of them were because of the clouds though. Always some neat clouds.
Stormy layers of clouds....
Or just a happy sky full of happily lit floaters....
Somehow I surprisingly loved this combination of intersection, buildings and clouds. That's pretty neat... right ?
Ya just can't deny the beauty of these clouds reflecting the light of the late setting sun.
This one you can't see the intersection so well, but I took it showing the funnel cloud dancing in my rearview mirror.
No... for real, it was there !
In the winter it would get dark way before I got home. The intersections had so many lights that it looked kind of festive for a moment or two.
Not an intersection, but I came across it on my hunt and loved the starburst the streetlight produced as I snapped it going by..... not really sure what I was after at the time, but this was the fun photo I got.
Ok... that is it for now, except at the bottom I put a panoramic photo that my phone program automatically made for me one day after I had taken yet more cloud photos at an intersection. It did a pretty good job I thought.
Fortunately I got to bring my job home when covid swept in, so I don't have to do this long drive anymore. Believe me when I tell you, I don't miss it one bit !
Thank you @bashadow for making me think of these intersection photos !
