Most NFT games out there will make you spend a lot of money before you can acquire ingame assets.

Build your deck by playing daily so that you can earn a lot of Daily Focus Chests and End of Season Chests. When you open them, you can receive not only a lot of cards but also crypto tokens that you can trade for cash.

As of now, these are the free cards that I have obtained by playing Splinterlands daily:
Soul Bound Cards: These cards cannot be traded, sold, or transferred.
Fire Element
Water Element
Earth Element
Death Element
Gladiator Cards: These cards can be acquired by using merits. Previously, you could only use these cards in guild brawls, but since the release of soulbound summoners, you can now use these cards when playing in ranked mode.
You can convert them to crypto tokens by burning them. Each card has an equivalent DEC value, with higher rarity cards having greater value.
Playing Splinterlands is not only enjoyable but also mentally stimulating and rewarding too.
