If you go to Florida today, you will see. I mean, it's the honest truth. You will see so many construction sites completely stalled.
I mean, as in nobody has showed up to work in the last four months because there's just no workers or the workers that do exist that are, you know, Americans. And, you know, your old traditional Irish, Italian, blue collar builders, there's not enough of them. There's not enough of them.
That's just the reality because our generation, millennials, did not pick up on their ancestors' traditions largely. And it's led to a deficit. And we have been selling the scam of academia to our kids and demotivating them from trade schools.
So kids were for a very long time embarrassed of the notion of like, I'm not going to go be a plumber. I'm not going to go be an electrician. Oh, I got to go be a doctor.
I need to get an accounting degree or I need to get a like some of the most bullshit degrees on Earth because it's a scam. Right. So there's a deficit for sure.
There is an economic impact. And I say this openly. I get he and I understand people, people's passion on immigration.
But I say, hey, there is enough illegal criminals to go after before you even need to look at farms and builders. That's just my take. And you can disagree with me and I respect that.
But you will have so much work to do taking away actual people who are leeching the system, like the people who were who are living high on the hog in Manhattan and five star and four star hotels on the taxpayer dime or people who are just sitting at home collecting checks for all their kids while they occupy seats in schools and take away and detract on quality of education from American kids. Here's a lot of those people you can go after before you actually have to look at the farms and you have to look at the construction and the trade. Because here's the thing.
