Yesterday after spending the night in the van at Maidenwell I traveled to the Bunya Mountains National Park to have a look and walk around various tracks etc. Unfortunately they are doing a lot of track maintenance work and most of the walks I wanted to do are closed off.
I have some photos from various areas I went to in the Bunya Mountains this area is around 1000 meters above sea level and was very foggy in the morning.
Wallaby with a cute little Joey (baby) poking it's head out of mum's pouch.
One of the rare Bunya pine trees.
I found Paradise 😁
I left Bunya Mountains behind and made my way to the town of Kingaroy for some lunch and a hot shower 👍. Then I traveled out to Kinbombi Falls and with very little rain lately no water fall to see just the beautiful gorge to view.
I camped in my van here in the free camping area it is a lovely place to stay. Also got talking with some other campers and they offered me a cup of tea and biscuits that I gladly accepted we chatted for a few hours into the night.
Thanks for following along with me on my actifit and travel post😀
