Weather was cloudy this morning though it cleared up nicely and the sun was seen and it warmed up馃憤. This made for some lovely walking soaking up that beautiful sunshine. I did get the little Daihatsu Cuore engine running and it was very very smokey. This being a good sign that the oil control piston rings have a build up of carbon stopping them from working properly. This allows excess oil to enter the combustion chamber and create lot's of smoke. I removed the cylinder head and oil sump this allowed me to remove the pistons. And they sure did have a build up if carbon so I spent a long time cleaning the rings.
