Day 3 was a long and amazing day. The group wanted to go fishing, so we rented a fishing boat that came with a captain and a cooler. We spent the majority of the day hanging on the boat, catching some sun (a lil too much lol), drinking brews and loving life.
The menfolk caught a lot of fish...yellow tail, bonito...but no tuna.
Dolphins came and swam with our boat on and off throughout the day. There was one particular dolphin that kept coming back and swimming alongside the side of the boat I was on...and I knew it was the same one because of his/her markings.
When I say that day was special, those moments with my dolphin cousin in particular, it is an understatement. The ocean has always felt like home to me. I don't think I was ever taught how to swim, I just knew how.
There was a moment when I felt completely still and at peace. Water and beauty all around me, and this incredible being keeping me company and reminding me of my place within the word, not outside of it, or on top of it, but part of it.
Beautiful day with beautiful people in a beautiful place.
Arrival. I think this was at around 7am or so. All I know is the sun was barely peeking out
The men discussing manly things lol
The Sun arrives
3 minutes into our boat ride and I was already speechless

These talented musicians making a buck. Unfortunately they only offer songs like "La Bamba" & "Guantanamera"...and when I asked for "Las Ma~nanitas, I got shot down. Also, we brought the fish here to be cleaned and prepared, and they tried to charge us for twice the weight of what was brought in. Little did they know, we had a seasoned fisherman in the group...and Kieran does not play that shit...as you can see in his face lol This is probably the worst experience we had to deal with...and it was not bad at all - but yea no...not 7 kilos lol
The ride back. Heaven is a place on Earth
There is an annual blues fest in Huatulco so we checked it out since we are all huge fans of the blues. We get there, the place is crowded, and it looks like yet another Canadian party (Which isn't bad, I love Canadians...just weird being at a place like that in the middle of Mexico lol) and they had ONE act that was blues. Music was cool but calling it a blues festival was a sssstttttrrrreeeettttccccchhhhh. No matter...we had fun because we were together <3
Chris & Amy. I love taking their picture. I love them <3
And that is all folks. Day 4 coming up either tonight or tomorrow.
