These conversations are proof of how much I love and cherish you. I wouldn't want you to go through something I have gone through.
I wouldn't want you to make mistakes I have made that brought me to this point.
I went through all these, simply because I wasn't opportuned to get some advice from my elders. This is also because I happen to be the first child of my parents.
Most decisions taken came as a kind of risk, there was nobody to give me a proper direction.
It's true, that a journey of a thousand miles starts from taking your first step but I put it to you that the first step isn't the beginning of that journey.
You ought to know where you are going first, map out the process, routes and means of getting there ( destination).
This might sound crazy but I assure you, those were some of the mistakes I made. There was no proper planning. I just take the bold step and sometimes the bold step happens to be a wrong bold step and before I will realize it a lot has been damaged, some I try to amend, some beyond amendment.
I let go just to find a better start and best way to achieve these things.
Mind you, time isn't on your side.
A wrong step can be retraced, but the time wasted, can not be recovered except if it happens by some kind of divine encounter.
Here are some of the things I expect you to put in place as you go through this world of uncertainty.
LOVE YOURSELF: people don't really care about you. When people show concern it because there is something they are either benefiting or want to benefit. Show love to people but then make sure you take proper care of yourself, you will be surprised how fast people will forget your deed and your existence once you are no longer living. Be alive, be strong and be healthy so you can execute that act of love you have in you.
STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP: keep good relationships with people, regardless of their status. Everyone at every level has got potential to render help according to the level and strata at which they operate .
For instance you don't get some poor random folks to sign contracts worth millions of dollars for you.
What you need at this level is a high level and caliber of people to be able to raise you to that position, mind you you can't ask those who are supposed to sign contracts to help you change your tire on the road side when you have a flat tire. These two different people are built for different purposes and until you learn to keep good relationships with them, you will not get things done.
I don't want you to be at the financial level at which I am at, when you will get to the level at which I am currently.
So I will strongly advise that in as much as school is important as it makes you civil and responsible. I also will implore that you get a skill and acquire it; it could be a tech skill or any other skill that can make you self dependent without waiting to be employed.
Be a master of yourself, live life to the fullest and enjoy every bit of it. Endured every pain growth for most of them birth gain.
