what you have today cannot be certain you shall have the next day; one cannot assure himself of good health, good friends, riches or even be sure if he will live to see the next day. That is why you shouldn't boast of what you are not certain of as it can come as a surprise,
for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth;
Tomorrow comes with either pleasant or unpleasant SUPRISE pending the one you encounter it might be loss of job no one knows or gaining employment, it might even be loosing a contract it can be divorce from married couples it can be a car accident so many but few to mention. And one thing about letting it pass is that it might be difficult to get and it might even be possible yhat you never gets it agin just like a second pass and it is not recovered and can never be recovered that is how some of these opportunities are.
Coming back to our christian live as christian do you have anyone Who you should forgive? Who you should thank? Who you should comfort? Above all, what can or should you give God today in confession, praise, or conduct to honor Him?
If you have all this in mind and you think this is not the right time to do all these then you are making a big mistake. Because you don't have time in your control and so is your life. So it's better to make haste while the sun still shine.
God’s wisdom says that godliness with contentment is great gain (I Tim 6:6). Are you living today as godly as you know how, and are you content with what God has already given you? This is the way to maximize life and avoid sinfully boasting of tomorrow.
Or you postpone things and loudly shouting if i don't do it today i will do it tomorrow Do not loudly say what you will do in the future. For the plans you have and even your life is stated in this word. “If the Lord will.” This is what God has destined to happen in your life and there is a contrary reasons then it's evil be mindful and vigilant to know that "will" (Jas 4:13-16).
Do not postpone your reconciliation with your enemy and say i will go and make up with him or her tomorrow thats one stupid thing to be done as you or even that enemy is not certain of tomorrow so why wait until tomorrow why not make it right now.
Life expectancy is based on averages, but there is no John or Sally Average. In fact, you may die .
Jesus said, “Take therefore no thought for the tomorrow: for the tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” (Matt 6:34)
Heaven and hell are of grave importance. Will you live today accordingly? Or will you make the fatal mistake of planning tomorrow and dying today?
