I admit, I am not the kind of person who believes in what the stars say. To me, they are simply beautiful creations of God; hence, I don't pray to them because I know they cannot hear me. Instead, I pray to the One who created these beautiful heavenly bodies, and I praise Him for such immense beauty. Meditating on these wonderful creations can even bring you closer to the Creator.
Yesterday, the sun came out and it became quite hot. Still, nothing seems to have dried yet. It rained again last night, as well as at dawn. Consequently, the water levels in the rivers remain high, and combined with the high tide, water continues to seep into the house.
It rained again this noon, and I hope that will be the last of it because we need sunshine so badly. We also need to get our laundry done. Doing daily chores is truly difficult during these rainy days.
I am looking back on our stay in Buguias, Benguet. We made sure to take advantage of viewing the beautiful sights since we don't have them in the lowlands. We woke up early, well before the sun rose, to watch the changing colors of the sky against the backdrop of the mountains.
