I continue to walk through Berlin.
On the right of my is Reichstag and on the left is Paul-Löbe-Haus.
I walk along the river Spree.
The night was down and I realized I’m lost.
I walk around the streets without a goal and I shoot photos.
Suddenly I came across another historical sight.
Checkpoint Charlie (or "Checkpoint C") was the name given by the Western Allies to the best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin, between East and West Germany.
Checkpoint Charlie became a symbol of the Cold War, representing the separation of East and West. Soviet and American tanks briefly faced each other at the location during the Berlin Crisis of 1961.
After reunification of Germany, Checkpoint Charlie became a tourist attraction.
Another thing what is interesting is that the windows in the some apartments are still concerted with bricks.
I remember a documentary showing the separation of Berlin, and the closure of the windows over the night .
It is half past 11.
In the distance I see the familiar part of Berlina. Potsdamer Platz.
From Potsdamer and I'm going back to the hotel by the known route.
