last year I had a few business trips around Europe. I want to share my impressions with you.
Before Berlin, there was a Barcelona, Maastricht, Brussel, Munich, Ljubljana and Paris.
Barcelona
Through airplane window I sow a beautiful view of the sea, ships, and Barcelona.
Landing was great. After airport check we left airport.
We took aerobus to the center of Barcelona. Few minutes’ walk and we are in our hotel
Hotel Arc La Rambla. Three star hotel on La rambla street.
La Rambla is the most famous street in Barcelona, especially popular among tourists.
After I settled and rested in hotel, I decided to take a little walk.
Contrary colleague's suggestion I went the opposite of La Rambla.
I walked the streets and, of course, I lost (no problem, GPS on my cell phone works great, and there is a good old paper map.).

In the distance I saw the Sagrada Familia.
The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Famíliais a large unfinished Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 1882, construction of Sagrada Família started under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar. Sagrada Familia's construction progressed slowly and it was interrupted by the Spanish Civil War. It is anticipated that the building can be completed by 2026—the centenary of Gaudí's death
As night start falling, I walked toward the building.
No matter how famous and known is, that church, well I didn’t really liked.
After a few photos I went (with the help of maps and GPS and map) towards the hotel.
I must prepare for tomorrow's conference. Although I'd rather walked around Barcelona.
