I got a new tea filter/teapot thing and decided to make a coaster for it, messing around with the gaps on the edges and corners.
Using a method I learned from @cryptocariad I turned this shirt into some awesome yarn, it's a very stretchy shirt and was very easy to cut and stretch. Took about 15 min.
Also found an old tablecloth, still thinking about how I will use it. Trying to turn it into a consistent width yarn by cutting in a spiral. The edges were some kind of silk so I decided to make one of those keychain thingies, no idea what these were called. Used to be popular where you made knots with plastic tubes.
I also said I'd share some cats. This is my friend, keeping me company while fishing who loves getting pats, which is a rarity here, most cat's just hiss. I even saw her catch a live sardine from the sea, I swear I saw her grin considering I haven't caught anything yet at that time.
These are just cats that come for the food and hiss at any passerby. There are more but I keep forgetting to take pictures.
Here's the 3 kittens sort of all in shot
interesting thing happened. While walking by the beach I saw a cuttlefish which is weird to see in summer in the shallow end.
I've been a bit slow with the artsy stuff here. I tried selling origami roses yesterday, at around 1$ a piece with stems and leaves but a lot were left over. earned around 8-9$. Kids were mostly very interested so I taught them how to make origami swans, one of the simplest models I know, so I'm glad I tried. Got a lot of compliments from some older people :)
Made 2 stars and a few roses while sitting there, these are all the leftovers.
Thank you for reading, I'll try not not posting for 3 days straight.
