since we were just walking around the residential part of town, there was nothing extra ordinary this time. this is the best picture for tonight, so sorry but i too find this too bland. but then again, there is really nothing else to choose from.
let me start the entry.
the premise
housemate js shared that afternoon that she wanted to buy some chia seeds. chia seeds is not a common ingredient so i'm pretty sure that only high end shops might sell it. she shared her plans of which shops to check. i had some reservations of her choices but i was open to surprises.
shop 1 2 3 and the lady on the balcony
shop 1, nothing.
shop 2, nada.
the evil me was not really looking that hard, i wanted to walk some more. finding the chia seeds would immediately end this nightwalk. yes, i had some ulterior motives. and i was open about it, told my housemate that i wouldn't be much of a help to her.
we were on our way to shop 3 when we passed by this house. first saw the winged statue at the ground floor. walking just a bit away, a naked lady was up there near the balcony. it was like she was out there after a hot sizzling night with her lover whose wife happened to come home unannounced so she was shoved out in panic so as not to get caught. they were in panic, she even forgot that she was stark naked. what a scandal!
on to shop 4
i finally told housemate js of what i had initially in mind; chia seeds is not a common household need so i am pretty sure it won't be available in your common grocery shops. i told her of a specialty -ish grocery shop, seijo ishii. there were two near us, one in ueno and another in tabata. my housemate was initially no longer interested, but i managed to coerce her to walk some more: i was really in there for the nightwalk. tabata was the target; about 20 minutes away from where we were at.
yes, that shop had chia seeds. it even had quinoa. it had many unusual products and i was even compelled to buy some products as well. almond and cashew flavored cookies, biscoff, tuna chips, and dried banana chips: this is quite much.
and the rest of the ladies
outside the tabata shop was this gold lady, another naked one. artists love their ladies naked, it seems. and at the very end of the public space was this other lady, this time she was demure. very demure that she seemed like an educator. but since this lady was not naked, she was kept hidden in the bushes. that was my opinion but it was fun to speculate.
that is so many ladies in one night.
finally, this was how our track came to be; it was all sorts of weird. it resembled a bird, a swan?
