it was a different experience this time, i was out to enjoy the night.
i was earlier devastated with the eventual cancellation of a previous plan; we were supposed to have a barbeque trip beside some river in a far off place.
it was supposedly a nature trip with a slight possibility of playing in the cold river waters, a supposed great escape from the summer heat.
but then, rain decided to interfere.
weather forecasted of rain (and possibility of thunderstorm) in the camping grounds area; thus, the eventual cancellation of the trip.
going far away into nature just to get wet would be a let down, might as well not go in the first place.
so here i was in my frustration, went to eat out instead.
still went to nature, nature in the neighboring city that is.
and it did not rain in the city at least, i did not check the weather in the camping grounds anymore: too heartbreaking to find what really transpired.
i would rather believe that it rained over there.
instead of barbeque in the open nature, i went to a yakiniku place instead.
still the same meat, but the setting is totally different.
yakiniku is grilled meat in japanese.
instead of cold river waters, had ice cold alcoholic beverage instead.
same cold liquid but totally different.
got a bit flustered, went to the nearby park to sober up.
still full of trees and even had a fountain, same same nature but totally different.
what i had today was a budget version of the real deal.
not really complaining but though it looked like it.
at the end of the day, still thankful.
hope you all are thankful today as well.
