Hello friends!
Today, I want to share with you one of the most pleasant afternoons I had in Tenerife.
I did many things in Tenerife, of all kinds. Saw many places, of all kinds as well. And funnily enough, this simple afternoon with friends is still one of my favorite moments and warms my heart every time I think about it.
One Saturday afternoon, my friends and I decided to check out this place in El Sauzal. Everybody was quite suspicious about the place because we all knew that the town of El Sauzal is located on a cliff so how it could possibly have a coast... but my sources didn't lie. We obviously had to hike down the cliff but it was sooo worth it!
Beautiful coves with clean water, natural pools, and a public barbeque spot. Life doesn't get better than that :D unless you and your friends are carrying a few bottles of wine and you end up leaving this place after sunset because you spent the whole afternoon swimming in the ocean, barbequing lots of amazing food, and drinking some great Tenerifian wine. Then it's an absolute pleasure.
So if you're ever in the area and thinking about a chill, amazing experience, you know where to go! All you need is:
- a group of friends
- food to barbeque
- something to barbeque on, such as coal
- something to lit up the fire
- wine
and I guarantee you that you're gonna have an amazing time!
PS: pro tip - chill your drinks under a rock in the ocean.
