Hellooo, my dear Hivers!
So today, I want to share with you our little food trip at Dhodz Pizza!
This happened right after my afternoon classes. And this afternoon class of ours was really draining because it was straight from 1 PM to 5 PM, and all of them were major subjects. So, while I was checking my phone after class, a super cheesy looking pizza passed by. I told my friend that I was super hungry and craving pizza. She instantly replied, "Sure, let’s go!"
Since there are many pizza places around, she followed up by asking which one I had in mind. I told her, “Let’s go to Dhodz Pizza.”
Story time! Back when I was in high school, the only pizza I had ever really tasted was from Alberto’s. It was also my favorite, that specific flavor and taste stuck with me. Even when my mom would buy pizza, I’d always hope it was from Alberto’s because I loved how yummy it was.
But when I got to college and started working as a student assistant, the office would often have snacks, and guess what? It was always pizza from Dhodz Pizza! The branch is also in Bogo City and just a short ride from the school campus. Although Alberto’s is just a ride away too, our boss and the staff always preferred Dhodz Pizza. That’s when I got influenced by them and eventually realized that Dhodz Pizza might actually taste better than Alberto’s! Ever since then, I’ve been seriously craving it all the time.
Anyway, back to the story, when we arrived at Dhodz Pizza, there weren’t too many people inside. But their delivery guy had a lot of orders with him, which means yes, they do deliver to offices and homes!
We looked for a good seat, placed our things down, and then went to order. I first asked my friend what she wanted, but she just said, “Up to you, anything as long as you like it too.” I was pretty indecisive at first, so I asked the staff for their bestsellers. She mentioned a variety of flavors, which just confused me more! So in the end, I chose Hawaiian, good for two, since we’re not really heavy eaters anyway.
By the way, their menu has lots of choices, definitely not lacking!
After placing the order, I went back to our table and realized we didn’t have drinks. I’m not into soft drinks, and neither is my friend, so I just went across the store to buy bottled water since they didn’t have any available there.
By the time I got back, our pizza had arrived!
They gave us two sauces, spicy and not spicy. Of course, I went for the non spicy one. I even double checked to make sure it wasn't spicy at all, because I just wanted a smooth, chill eating experience. While eating, we just chatted about random stuff, and after that, we went home.
