Hello, my dear Hivers!
First, announced in our group chat stated that we are practicing in CRMC Upper Pandan, but a few days later, the site was replaced, still in Upper Pandan, but this time in the Barangay cover court. It turned out to be more convenient since it was near the highway, so there was no need to walk far away. In addition, we are all familiar with this place because we were first here.
Our practice was determined for 1 pm, but around that time, my friend Johan, who were part of my circle, first and our group chat was disturbed that there were only a few people. As always, most of us followed "Filipino Time", including me! I started waiting around 1 o'clock only because I was sure that the practice would not actually start till 2 pm. I ride a three-wheeler and fortunately, it was just one a ride because the tricycle could go directly to the venue.
When I came, there were already some people there, but the practice that was going to lead it was not yet. So, I looked for a seat and ended by sitting near Angelie. As I was sitting, I saw someone brought food and drinks, and I said to Angelie, "I am hungry." She replied, "every time when somebody walks with food or eats before you, you always feel hungry," and we both laughed.
I then asked her and Keziah if they would want to go and buy something to eat with me because I really wanted to eat something, and they replied, "Sure, let's go, we are also hungry." The good thing is that the snack place was just across the covered court. When I entered the place, I immediately thought that the atmosphere was very good, and the employees were very acceptable.
I really love such places when there are lots of fresh plants, it just looks so comfortable. I loved it!
They sell full meals and snacks, and there are drinks too. For coffee lovers, they’ve got coffee options available. They also sell milk tea, milkshakes, and a variety of drinks.
One popular item is their "snack in a cup" combo drinks with food on top (this was what my classmates were carrying around), and it only costs ₱49! I ordered that, pairing fries with blue lemonade since I’m more familiar with that combo. Some of my friends ordered the chicken poppers. I was curious about how the chicken poppers tasted but ended up choosing fries instead.
While we were waiting, we noticed a tricycle stop right in front of the covered court, and it turned out to be our dean! The crew said they’d just deliver our orders to us since the place was just across the street. We said thank you in advance, of course!
When we went back inside the covered court, we were told to line up and find our spots, apparently, our positions during practice would also be our positions during the actual pinning ceremony. While practicing and listening to our dean's instructions, our orders were delivered. But we didn’t eat them yet since it felt off eating while others weren’t. So, we waited until the end of the practice.
