Hello, my dear Hivers!

This is basically a continuation of my previous blog, where I’ll be highlighting and sharing with you the time when we had our meal.

Of course, we bought food first before we started eating.

When I arrived at the counter, I took a peek at their food menu since we've eaten there only once before, and this was the second time. The last time we went here, I actually brought my own rice, so I ordered just two single dish. But back then, my classmate ordered a full meal, and I got curious about how it tasted, especially those meals that already include rice and a dish. That curiosity led me to suggest that we have to lunch here again.

So when it was time to choose, I looked for something with both rice and a dish. At first, I asked the crew what their best seller was, since I couldn’t decide. She said their best seller was the steamed rice. I asked to confirm if it came with a dish, and she said, “Yes ma’am, and the rice is fried rice.” Since I’m not into fried rice, especially for lunch, I asked if they could serve it with plain rice instead. She said, “sure, ma’am,” and I replied, “Thank you, Miss.” Then she handed me the little buzzer thingy that we needed bring to the table, which will vibrate once our order is ready at the counter.

Beside the cashier, they had displays of siopao, siomai, and other snacks, which were really easy to see from where we stood. The utensils were also just placed nearby where customers can get them freely without needing to ask the staff. Different sauces were along the right side of the siomai station.

So I stood there looking around while waiting for my friend, who was finalising the menu and paying for her food. I took a quick turn, ready to walk away when I noticed a food menu poster on the wall. Just a moment ago, I had not seen it!

As my friend finished placing her order, we then return to the table. Anyway, my friend Angelie who's with me at the counter had batchoy and siomai for her order.

As I mentioned in my last blog, we moved to another spot to sit because it was more spacious. The tables here were also wider.

Captured a selfie in between the wait time for food.

Moments later, the pager vibrated, and friend went to collect the food from the counter.

Minutes later, our orders arrived. The batchoy they served was so generous-there were enough slices of chicharon and egg. And can you believe it only costs 30 pesos? There was also siomai and sauce that came with it.

This was what I ordered: it turns out my dish was chicken, with some soup or sauce, I’m not really sure what to call it!

My other friend, Lavester, even added seasoning to his batchoy.

We began eating and really lodged that moment. We all agreed on resting, savor the food, let it sink in how delicious it was, especially after a long stressful day.

After eating, we chatted some more, then headed back to the campus since Johan and Keziiah had some urgent errands to run.

That is all for today's blog, my dear Hivers! Thank you so much for reading!
