Hello, my dear Hivers!

itsmemic@itsmemic , once again! I'm back with another post!

It's been a long time since I last shared something, as I've been busy with my studies and also my internship. Balancing schoolwork with internship responsibilities has been challenging; there seems to be no end to the deadlines, the reports that I have to prepare, and the changes that I have to go through in my workplace. Nevertheless, I still want to write and share my life experiences with you, my dear Hivers, because writing about life’s small and big moments here has become my personal way of finding solace and relaxation.

In my last blog, I mentioned that eating at Jollibee is one of the things that we do to relax and have fun after class. The food is delicious and quite affordable, just right for students like us who are on a tight budget. Thanks to their “mix and match” option, we can have hearty meals without spending too much.

We all agreed that, we should eat at Jollibee right after our class since we were starving. Some of my friends hadn’t even had their lunch, so it was the most appropriate decision for us. Fortunately, we got a free table that could accommodate all of us. Our food was delivered after a short time of waiting.

I decided to go for the spaghetti and fries mix and match combo. The interesting thing is that, during our time at Jollibee, a Jollibee crew came up to us and asked if we wanted to take part in a survey online. Luckily, we could do it because my friend had mobile data. And here is the sweet part! Free sundae was given to everyone who took part in the survey, what a nice thing to have during a hot day!

We ate well and also shared our stories. Since we are in different places during the on-the-job training, this Saturday get-togethers are very valuable to us. It is our way of checking in on one another and exchanging our experiences.

I’m not going to lie that it’s these little things, Jollibee meals, laughing at each other’s silly stories, and talking about life that make me see how important friends’ support is, especially in the middle of the busiest chapters of college life.

Hivers, that’s all for today’s blog! Many thanks for reading!
