Soledad

Solitude

Loneliness enters the room; makes a minimal effort to slip through every hole in the wall, through the cracks in the door, through the window frames. It is a grayish smoke, speckled with whitish clusters that spread around.

Four corners, every space in the room is filled with this smoke, making itself present, looking from every corner without having any eyes. The black of the walls contrasts it, nuances it by making it visible.

Solitude, you who invade a quiet room, which drowns it with longing, and cuts wings to hopes demolished by anguish. You who make colors disappear, who impregnate with the smell of rottenness souls desperate for invisible loves.

Oh, infinite loneliness that saddens! You observe the defeat of one who loves unrequitedly, waiting for your turn to be loved or required. Wrap up these beings with your gray mantle, but do not drown them, they are not entirely yours.

The magnificence of your love transcends among the masses; countless individuals have you and do not let you go, or do you not let them go? I cannot decipher the unknown...

I am a soul that admires you, and preserves you, but wants to let you go. Let me go, let me live for another. But do not be sad, sooner or later I always come back to you. You are the most faithful of the unfaithful and so you will always be mine.
