The day was clear and bright in a September afternoon. The sun was shining at its peak, warming all around, heat and sweat over Tammy’s body soaking her t-shirt entirely. She was so entertained in her new toy that she forgot about putting on her flip-flops. She was just observing and touching the tip of her new soldering iron. The excitement for a simple tool was absurd, but she was mesmerized and content; the tip of it was thin and silver, not like the one she had broken months ago.

She started to look for the stuff she had in an old, dusty wooden trunk that she needed to repair and put it on the floor. She was an enthusiast on repairing things, and she needed no to waste time, so she fetched the LED bulbs she stored in her room and started to try them searching for the damaged part. Furthermore, she connected a wire to the outlet and took the other extreme that had a light bulb holder. At the beginning, nothing happened. Tammy thought that she was doing something wrong, the LED bulb did not go on when she put the little wire on the part she needed to. So, she tried once more and that was when all became chaos.

She first felt it in her fingers, and continuously on her hand, and arm. The electricity running all over her body made her wriggle like a worm in a fryer. She couldn’t see clearly; all was blurry as hell, and her voice went off when she tried to ask for help. She was unable to get up off the floor, and although she tried to take off the light bulb holder with her empty hand, she just couldn’t. The Electrical impulse was direct from the outlet because her middle finger touched the cap of the bulb. It was 110 volts in her body and she was unable to move off, she had forgotten her flip-flops and on top of it, naïve of her of course, she was sitting on the floor. Without being able to ask for any help, and alone in her room, feeling hundreds of volts running all over her body, trembling hard, she finally fell.

The light bulb holder on her hand fell off the same as she. A sharp blow to the head when falling flat on the ground sounded, but no one heard it. Her body lying fried on the ground just on the waiting. She couldn’t even use her new tool. The moment went off her hands, and her body died of excitement.
