Suddenly I woke up because of ringing up over my phone. I slept late last night. I received the call without opening my eyes. Whenever I picked the calls the man from the other side called me “ Are you at home?”. Then I looked into the phone. I was perplexed, it was Habib. Then I asked him “ Why? What happens?. He didn’t answer my question and again called “ Are you sleeping?” Then I said “ yes! I was sleeping but now I woke up. What happens? He replied to me that he was coming to my house. I said “ OK. Come and I have no problem at all.”

Habib and me

You must be thinking why I was perplexed. Actually, it was a regular process a decade ago. After starting my university life I did come home scarcely. So I forgot about it. Moreover, in this pandemic situation, I never hoped that.

I didn’t leave the bed before he reached in front of my door and rang the bell. I opened the door and asked him to enter into my room. He laid down into my bed as like years ago. Then I freshened up myself and joined him. I asked him why he was here keeping his newly married wife at home😁😁. He answered me that after being informed that I am staying at home alone, he planned to pay to visit my home. But I doubted about it. Maybe the reason was right but not fully. I was thinking about what could be.

We did our breakfast with biscuits. Then I saw he was opening a paper which wasn’t noticed by me earlier. I asked him that is the paper related to us 😉. He replied that he brought it with him if he got any chance, he would complete his work. Then he began to do his work. Habib actually likes that. He didn’t want to waste his time.

After some time he put the paper on his pocket. While he was doing the work, I went to the kitchen to heat the meat without his acknowledgement. Then we began to talk about our memorable past days. Habib’s Mother was short-tempered women. He didn’t like about Habib’s playing. Many of the time I went with him after finishing the game and said to his mom that Habib was with me at my house😎😎.

But one day a terrible thing happened. We were playing cricket and Habib was doing fielding. One of our big brothers were batting. Suddenly the lower side of the bat got detached from the handle of the bat. The broken side of the bat hit the forehead of Habib. We use ice to reduce the swelling of the forehead. Then he was feeling fear thinking about how his mom would react to see this. I brought him to my house with me and I convinced my mom to go to Habib's house with him and to make his mom clam. My mom did it successfully but Habib couldn’t play for a while. We talked about the day and laughed in a shout.

Then he asked me about the meat which was cooked by me yesterday. Actually yesterday I shared with him about my cooking over the phone. I doubt this was a reason behind his coming 🤐🤐.

Habib is a man of good heart. He was beside me in my every evil work. I also made him stand in front of my parents many times. Sometimes we got caught 😀😀. I wished I could get back those days.

It’s time to say goodbye. I will catch you guys on my next post. Stay safe and pray for me.
