2017年の夏頃から、東京に来るときはカプセルホテルに泊まるようにしている。
カプセルホテルといえば、いまから10年弱前に就職活動で地方から東京にでていたときによく活用していた。学生にとってありがたい価格設定、そしてあの秘密基地にいるような空間が居心地よかった。
ただ、いま僕が泊まっているのは、高級カプセルホテル だ。なにが高級なのかは場所によっても異なるが、伝統的なカプセルホテルに比べて、綺麗だったり機能性が高いことが多い。なお、高級といってもビジネスホテルよりは安い価格帯だ。
カプセルホテル愛好家として何回かの記事にわけてちょっとずつまとめていきたい。
