I hope you're doing well and enjoying your day. I'm so excited to share something special today. I'm a Computerized Embroidery Designer and associated with this profession since teenage. First time I try handmade embroidery which was a great experience.
Embroidery is the art of the quiet soul.
And today, my soul whispered something new—it asked me to create with my own hands.
I belongs to a small village where the handmade embroidered curtains and covers is trendy. I admire the beauty of stich by stitch needlework. To make first experience meaningful I decided to make the symbol of Splinter Logo.
Let's check it's procedure in details.
I wanted to start it on Sunday but the thread I have was very thing that is used in Computerized Embroidery. I had decided to try it that's why I got these rolls from market.
In the first step with the help of Compass and Scale I draw that part of logo I want to embroider.
These were the threads that was available already but I didn't use them.
I don't know the ABC of Handmade Embroidery. There are countless famous stitches of handmade embroidery that represents our culture. Balochi Tanka, Benazir Tanka, Sindhi Tanka and Moti Tanka are some popular embroidery style.
I watched some YouTube video about different types of stitches and started making it. I let thr needle go with the flow.
I used skin color to fill the teeth like shapes of the Splinterlands Logo.
Here I highlighted it with the Navy blue color that brighten the look of Logo.
I never hesitate to mix and match the colors. To make the logo more attractive I choose baby pink color over sea green.
Baby pink color made it look more attractive. You can see it is smoothly and neatly done.
This is totally different experience from computerized embroidery. I enjoyed it fullest.
This blog is my first post in NeedleworkMonday Community as well it is my submission to Splinterlands Art Contest Week 347.
