I hope everyone is doing very well, and staying healthy. I really hope so, as, a lot is going on in the world.
Just now, the rains have wreaked havoc in many areas of the country, and unfortunately, there are people who have lost important things.
I wanted to show you on the other hand, how the garden has been progressing, and what things we have been harvesting the last week, and of which, we have been getting a lot of benefit, because there is nothing better than consuming chemical free and totally organic products.
What do you think of this fruit?
I can honestly say that it is the most useful vegetable I have ever planted. The most useful vegetable!
Why can I say that?
Well, these plants have been with us for more than a year now, and despite the climate changes, which are very drastic in the area, they do not suffer at all.
This one is called Eggplant. It is a rich and healthy food, which can be prepared in an infinite number of mixtures, as well as smoothies, as they help digest food, as well as being useful for dieting.
The life span of this plant is approximately 3 years, but, at that time, it could even last a little longer. With even better care, it can last up to 4 years, and without suffering any damage in the harvest.
In fact, I can say that it has almost the whole month producing.
On some plants, you can see branches that can have more than 20 Eggplants to harvest, and they can still produce flowers.
As you can see in this photo, at home we strive to get at least 2 varieties of eggplants, one that is a little more pink, and at the same time, its flavor is more tasteless, and the other, which for me is more tasteful, a little more purple, and a little sweeter in terms of flavor.
And here I come out with these eggplants that we later used as a side dish for lunch.
Right now, we have a little more than 60 eggplant plants, and although it is very nutritious, it is not consumed much at home, since they prefer other vegetables to eat.
On the other hand, we have been happy with the cambur harvest. We have 10 bunches of bananas, which are bigger than cambur, and a little more than 10 bunches of cambur.
Also, this photograph to another variety of plantains if you could say. These are topochos, which have a different flavor, and are mostly used in soups.
Although there were some that ripened and we ate them like any other cambur.
But, this plant is not so tasty, since it takes longer to remove the bunch until it is ready to harvest, in some cases, they last up to 11 or 12 months.
While the other varieties last from 7 to 9 months. But that is not something we have to fight with, there are only a few and we also share with those who feel like it.

Espero que todos est茅n muy bien, y que est茅n saludables. Realmente espero que sea as铆, ya que, muchas cosas est谩n pasando por el mundo.
Justo ahora, las lluvias han causado estragos en muchas zonas del pa铆s, y lamentablemente, hay personas que han perdido cosas importantes.
Quer铆a mostrarle por otro lado, como ya ido avanzando la huerta, y que cosas hemos estado cosechando la 煤ltima semana, y de las cuales, hemos sacado mucho provecho, pues no hay nada mejor que consumir productos libres de qu铆micos y totalmente org谩nicos.
驴Que les parece esta fruta?
Puedo decir con total franqueza, que es la hortaliza m谩s 煤til que jam谩s he sembrado. 隆La hortaliza m谩s 煤til!
驴Por qu茅 puedo afirmar?
Pues bien, est谩s plantas ya tienen m谩s de un a帽o con nosotros, y pese a los cambios de clima, que son muy dr谩sticos en la zona, est谩s no sufren absolutamente nada.
Este se llama Berenjena. Es un rico y sano alimento, que puede prepararse en una cantidad infinita de mezclas, as铆 como inciso batidos, pues ayudan a digerir los alimentos, as铆 como es 煤til para hacer dieta.
El tiempo de vida de esta planta, es de 3 a帽os aproximadamente, pero, llegado a ese tiempo, incluso podr铆a durar un poco m谩s. Con cuidado a煤n mejores, puede llegar a durar 4 a帽os, y sin sufrir ning煤n da帽o en la cosecha.
De hecho, puedo decir que est谩 tiene casi todo el mes produciendo.
En algunas plantas, se pueden ver ramificaciones que pueden llegar a tener m谩s de 20 Berenjenas para cosechar, y pueden seguir dando flores.
C贸mo ven en esta foto, en casa nos esmeramos por conseguir al menos 2 variedades de berenjenas, una que es un poco m谩s rosa, y a su vez, su sabor es m谩s desabrido, y la otra, que para m铆 es de m谩s gusto, un tanto m谩s morada, y un poco m谩s dulce en cu谩nto a sabor se refiere.
Y ac谩 salgo yo con estas berenjenas que posteriormente usamos como complemento para almorzar
Justo ahora, tenemos un poco m谩s de 60 plantas de berenjenas, y aunque es muy nutritiva, en casa no se consume mucho, ya que prefieren otras hortalizas para comer.
Por otro lado, hemos estado felices con la cosecha de cambur. Tenemos 10 racimos de pl谩tanos, que son m谩s grandes que el cambur, y un poco m谩s de 10 de cambur.
Adem谩s, esta fotograf铆a a otra variedad de pl谩tanos si se pudiera decir. Estos son topochos, que tienen un sabor diferente, y se usa mayormente en sopas.
Aunque hubieron algunos que se maduraron y lo comimos como cualquier cambur.
Pero, est谩 planta no nos es de tanto gusto, ya que, dura m谩s tiempo para sacar el racimo hasta que ya est谩 listo para cosechar, en algunos casos, duran hasta 11 u 12 meses.
Mientras que las otras variedades duran de 7 a 9 meses. Pero eso no es algo con que tengamos que luchar, hay solo pocos y pues tambi茅n compartimos con quienes les apetezca.
