I fell in love with a baddie. I'm Summer and just got into college. I was considered super intelligent by everyone around me even though I felt totally dumb.

I mean, my dress sense was negative and then I was awkward in conversations. I always topped my class though and was the envy of many students and the model student for most teachers.
I never had a boyfriend throughout high school because my parents were very strict with me and were strongly against teen relationships. Everyone called me a church girl. A title I loved in middle school but came to detest in high school.
Boys didn't spare me a second glance and while some of my classmates were having multiple promposals, I had none. You know that feeling of not having a single breathing soul who tells you,
"Hi Summer, I've had a crush on you for a very long time now. Will you go to prom with me,"
I felt fed up with my boring life and told myself I'd get into a relationship as soon as I got into college. But, there was another perk, I was philophobic.
I was very scared of falling in love. I saw many of my classmates who got heartbroken and how miserable they were and decided that if I didn't want to get heartbroken, then I'd better not fall in love.
Well, that was valid until Leonard came into the picture.
How did we meet?
Basically, one day I was going home after an exhausting day at school. On my way home, I was thinking about the project we were asked to do and how to go about it.
I went to a nearby cafe and ordered some snacks and coffee to keep me going while going through the internet to seek ideas on how to go about the project. I intended to use my laptop to start drafting once I got home.
By the time I finished, it was almost dark. I walked hastily down the street. The cafe was close to my house so I didn't need a taxi.
I held my tote bag tightly and adjusted my glasses while walking. Soon, I heard a whistle and someone tugged at my bag.
I shrank back in fear and walked faster but was soon overtaken by three guys who looked very dangerous. They hovered around me like hawks on their prey.
I rubbed my sweaty palms together and tried to say something but no words came out. One of them snatched my bag while another whistled sizing me up.
I felt so scared,
"Please don't harm me, I didn't do anything to you," I finally said.
"Oh, no! Beauty you've got it all wrong.
We just want to play," the leader said with ambiguity.
"Leave the girl alone," someone said behind them.
Shocked, we all turned to see a boy come out.
The thugs were furious to be interrupted and soon a fight broke out. I watched with admiration as my prince in shining armor fought fearlessly for me and couldn't help but fall in love.
But, he was a bad boy.
Leonard was my classmate from high school although we never spoke to each other, he was a baddie and only got into college with his parents' connection.
After that fight episode, we became close. I've always been guarded around guys but Leonard was different. He had saved me.
The more time I spent with him, the more I fell in love with him. One day, I made up my mind to ask him out and that was how I got myself a boyfriend.
Ending number one
Things were going smoothly with us and I got used to life as a girlfriend. Then things went sour.
It was a Saturday morning and since Leonard and I had been dating for about a year, we thought it'd be great to move in together. So we were cohabiting. That morning I brought out the laundry to wash and saw lingerie in the pocket of Leonard's clothes.
I didn't want to believe it, so I decided to check his phone. It turned out that he had three girlfriends in three different locations and one of them happened to be in town so they hooked up.
I was heartbroken and wasted no time breaking up with him. He was my first love and my first heartbreak. Although I'm hurting, I know I will heal.
Ending number two
He was sweet and gentle and unlike what I expected, he was very faithful and treated me like a queen.
I was shy and reserved at first but soon warmed up to being his girlfriend.
Now, I'm warming up to being a wife and a mother because being a parent is a full-time job and I absolutely love it.
