When dealing with unfamiliar things, what comes to your mind? Nervousness? Sweaty pamls? Sweating profusely? Or LBM? Yeah, we all do experience it.
Those were the things I'd experience when our Professor in our certain subject announced our project that will be due by the end of the semester - Robotics.
We were consist of five people in a member including me, and the term robotics was like a foreign word to us that everytime our Professor said the word to the class, we couldn't help but to furrow followed by low grunts. How could we do it if we don't have any background in making one?
But later on as our Professor discussed it and gave us video clips on how to do it, the once wrinkled faces of the class straightened and changed into smiles.
We even attended seminars and forum on how to make one so that we could extend our knowledge about it and to give as an idea of how to make one.
We utilized the internet we have in our school and went to the library to gather more information about the said topic.
And the hardworks paid off, the pictures below are the product of it. We put some designs and even named it "Maartina, The Ever Marteng Robot" (maarte in our country means artistic but has a negative connotation of nitpicky according to www.tagaloglang.com).
Making a robot, for me is fun to do. Though needed extra careful when handling the components so it won't be damaged. 😺
