Today is my father's 70th birthday I mentioned about it in my previous post and I also said that all my HBD and upcoming payout before December 13 will be given to my dad for his birthday celebration.

I accumulated 23 HBD for my father's birthday.

Early today around 7 or 8 AM I hugged and greeted my dad a happy birthday. My youngest brother and I helped to prepare the food.

Dad cooked 3 Filipino dishes Filipino Pancit Bihon, Dinuguan and Pork Sinigang

This is the Filipino Pancit Bihon, a traditional Filipino noodle dish. I forgot to take some photos of the Pork Sinigang but it's a soup or stew with a sour and savory taste.

And this is the Dinuguan One of my father's specialties it may look and sound gross because it was made from pork and pork's blood with coconut milk, but it really tastes good and I forgot my dad also bought 150 pcs of Puto this is the perfect combo, you dip the Puto in the Dinuguan and take a bite!

As you can see I do scalping in the market while eating this but I'm not satisfied with scalping so I switch to trading in futures in Binance.

This is my dad eating Suman while holding the 150 pcs of Puto. 馃槄馃槀

Anyways Puto is a Filipino steamed rice cake, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough. It is eaten as is or as an accompaniment to a number of savory dishes.

He cooked and prepared a lot of food because he expected some people to come that he invited, his friends, our relatives and he also invited some of my friends here.

Actually, we already had a visitor who came and it was my father's uncle, he came when we just gotten started preparing the food. After my father's uncle ate he left and said his goodbye.

Then my uncle came, my father's youngest brother. It's been a long time since the last time we met even though my uncle's house is still near our house like a 5 minutes walk. Usually this kind of occasion we just drink beer a Man to Man duel of alcoholic drinks but this time after 1 bottle we already stopped. HAHAHA, we are now both health-conscious.

then I forgot that I was doing futures trading and I ended up losing 10$ honestly at this moment I still doing the futures trading and trying to get back the 10$ that I lost but I think I might lose another 10$ lol, because I'm already -3.00 at this moment with 5.94 Margin. I can't focus......

then when my uncle left my father kept asking me "have you messaged your friends? are they coming? text them." I did, but they are all busy. Around 6 PM I saw my father sitting there and just looking or staring at our dog that sleeping on the ground, by just looking at my dad I felt sad and lonely once again I knew that feeling so I broke the silence of my dad and I said "Pa, go watch the news on the television it's already 6PM" and he replied "The news starts at 6:30 not 6:00" I just laughed but I knew he was sad and maybe disappointed.

When my father went inside their room to watch the news I accompanied him, He still texting some people or calling some people asking if they could still go and he also told them he doesn't have visitors, just 2 people visit him, his uncle and his youngest brother that's all. After he ended the call I hugged him and kissed his shoulders saying "We prepared a lot of food but we didn't have many visitors but it's okay Pa at least you're in your 70s and alive that is more important."

I really felt sad, bad, and mixed emotions because I know how it feels like, I think I got the trait of being a people pleaser, nice and kind to people from my father, but the difference is when I got older with a lot of trauma and trust issues I changed but my father didn't.

My father always gives and gives even though we are lacking in financials and all, the kindest people are the most prone to abuse and manipulation by others.

I didn't post this for you to pity us but I shared this because I want you to know to cherish your time and effort to your parents and to people who really and genuinely care for you, people who want you to grow and succeed and people who really support you and believes in you.

I wish you all a great ending to the year 2023 and a prosperous year 2024! Bless you all

I think that's it for this blog and see you on the next one.

One Love, Jah Love! PEACE to all who needed PEACE.
