The dawn bloomed into sunshine
The sky, blue and clear
Not a speck on the horizon
Nature's songs in my ear

Freshened up and packed my things
The bag, full and stout
Opened the door and took a step
This time, no turning about

The road ahead is rough and hard
Sometimes too wet and slippery
Made sure my gear's secure
All working in perfect harmony

I made some friends along the way
It wasn't really hard
We sang, laughed, and even cried
A bond that never marred

This journey I had taken on
Is one I'll never regret
It's one I'll always look back to
Never, never to forget

And I woke up...
It was raining hard...
I lay alone in my room...
Then I went back to sleep...

Speak:

Bazingga! :D I always wanted to end the year with a joke. Pretty much just like my entire 2017. ;)

Happy New Year Steemians! May 2018 be a good and prosperous year for you and for me.
