So this was day two of the health lecture concerning eyes and I was there as the photographer covering the whole event, and this particular clip is from the morning session when the facilitator was addressing the participants. In the video you can see a man standing in front of a projector screen, he is wearing a light blue long sleeve shirt tucked into a grey trouser with a black belt and black shoes, he is also putting on glasses and holding a microphone with both hands close to his chest. Behind him there is a big projector screen mounted on a white tripod stand, and on the screen you can clearly see the slide titled "Overall Learning Objectives" with some text and a circular diagram, though the camera was tilted so the video came out sideways. The hall itself looks like a conference room with marble tiles on the floor, a table covered with yellow wrapper in front, and a standing AC unit by the wall.
The man in the video is actually speaking passionately, you can hear from the audio transcript where he is saying something about the cognitive minister of health and social welfare being aware of what they are doing, so you know this is not just a normal small training, it's something serious that has to do with eye health in the country. He was moving slightly while talking, gesturing small with the mic in his hand, and you can see he is very confident and knowledgeable about what he is presenting. The slide behind him also had some extra points like "Diagnose and manage red eye" and other objectives but the camera didn't capture all because I was focusing more on him as the photographer. The lighting in the room was bright with spotlights on the ceiling and everywhere was calm and quiet as everyone was listening.
As the photographer for day two, I was trying to get different angles of the lecture, that's why this video looks like it was taken from the side, I was standing close to the yellow table where you can see a black bag and maybe a phone or power bank placed on it. You can also see part of someone's hand near that table, meaning participants were seated and paying attention. The background wall has wooden paneling and the white projector screen is very clear, you can even see the wire of the projector stand touching the floor. This was actually one of the important moments because he was explaining the overall goals of the eye health training for that day, what they aim to achieve after the session.
What I liked about this day two is that it was more detailed than day one, they went deeper into eye conditions, learning objectives and how to handle cases concerning eye health, and this man was one of the key speakers. Even though the video is short, like just about 14 seconds, it captures the seriousness of the program and the professional setting of the hall. As the photographer I had to make sure I captured both the speaker and the presentation slide together so that people who were not there can understand the context, and that's exactly what this video shows, a health professional delivering lecture on eyes with visual aid behind him on a projector screen.
