Thank you
When I was in primary school and I noticed I didn't have a cool handwriting. Then in basic 3 I was introduced to pen which means no too much errors because you can't erase it.
So I was selective with the pen I used. There were several brands that produced pen.
Bic and elengaza were the biggest and it was affordable.

I didn't like Bic pen because the color was very doll ( at that time because they have improved) the advantage was the ink has a good of test of time
The ink can last for several years, even if water touched the book Bic pen ink will still remain in tact.

On the other hand Elengaza pen had this brilliant color, very easy to hold and makes my handwriting look presentable.
I had an emotional connection with the pen and like wise other kids in school. You can use the pen to draw or paint your drawing
And then came this horrifying news, Elengaza headquarters was in Lagos at that time Fashola was the governor. He was strict about buildings not properly structured on the supposed plan, He will demolish any illegal building not in the Lagos urban plan.
Elengaza headquarters was a victim of that law, their building was brought down to the ground.
After that incident the pen was no longer in the market, they could not recover . Elengaza pen company was shut down.
I had to go back to Bic馃う before other brands came out which was worse because their pen case was fat i couldn't hold well, which makes my hand not to be balanced resulting to ugly hand writing again!

So in my secondary school I had to work on my writing, and it improved especially when I got a teaching job. But I still believe pen case can affect your handwriting. I used Nelson Thorns handwriting to transform my writing.
Elengaza pen has been greatly missed, some persons had to come on social media to compare Bic and Eleganza pen. Elengaza got the highest vote.
