Do you read? Maybe you should start because here's why...
For me, reading is a gateway to another world and different story. When I pick up a book I delve into the world the author creates for me and I live the life of the characters in the story. I learn new things along my journey in the book and pick up on new life lessons that can be applicable into the real world. These lessons I learn change the way I think and open up my mind to both sides of big real-world arguments. I see both sides of things and that helps my min reduce stress.
When I reduce stress from reading books I enjoy how much living outside of books really is. My mind becomes open and care free. I start to do things I haven't done before, even i they aren't the smartest choices I still do them because they're fun to me. They make great stories to tell later in life as well. Me doing things that I want to do is the main purpose fo each of us. And reading book scan do that for us because it teaches us lessons and helps us understand who we actually are when we process the lives of characters.
I encourage you to pick up a book and read. Whatever genre you like in books I encourage you to read it. Keep reading and you will see amazing results by yourself.
For me personally, my reading has taught me many things including self-observation and following good omens (Guess what book in the comments, I'll upvote the right answer). But I learned a lot from this one book specifically and that's to take risks because risks bring rewards and a life without any risk and rewards is a life of solitude and boredom. One risk I took was investing some of my own money into this Steemit site and the payoff is slowly showing with an increase of views and following for my profile. Just because I read books gives me the motivation to try new things, figure out myself, and most importantly love myself.
I want you to read a book this week, but only a book that interests you. Don't read a book that you think would be helpful to you or sound interesting. Take a book in a genre that you have a interest in and just read it without even researching the book. Discover what the book is as you read through it.
You don't need to know what's ahead of you to understand what's happening now.
You can quote me on that. ^
