The newest rave in the drone market is this self-tracking drone that uses technology to follow your movements without manually controlling it.

Here's the article

This picture is of a Airdog drone. The drone's famous features allows it to follow a GPS wristband that the user can wear. It can follow the wristband and avoid many obstacles along the path. It can be used for snowboarding and skiing as it can follow you down a slope. It also can be used for water sports as it follows you around and has a sensor technology to know to never get close or go in water. The GPS wristband is waterproof as well.

The technology makes use of Google Earth and the drone can also be manually preset to a route before takeoff. For instance if you wanted to bike trails, you could make a route with your drone over the trails you're biking and then have it takeoff and enjoy you're ride without worrying about the drone.

The drone pictured above can be folded up and put into backpacks however it doesn't come with its own camera, which some users may like because it gives them the freedom to choose which camera they want or they can use a previously owned one. The drone will begin shipping in August and has a list price of $1500.

My Thoughts

I think this new technology is a big breakthrough for the drone community. I see all the safety aspects in this new technology for example you could somehow make this bale to follow and track criminal activity or use the following feature for when you do extreme sports or go out in the wilderness alone. It can be used to alert or find help if the wristband says it has lost a heartbeat or something. I don't know but I hope you understand that there can be many uses for this and it excites me to see where this technology will go.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this article. Comment a great idea you have for this technology or how would you use it.

Until next post!
