Remnant's of this areas geologic past are characterized by a few worn down outcroppings of granite sitting in the bottom of a remote canyon. They look different than the surroundings and appear out of place. The granite must be harder and wearing down slower than whats next to it, giving this age old stone an interesting contrast to the mountain beyond.
