Buckminster Fuller, The architect and scientist, produced the most famous work in the form of a geodesic dome, a futuristic city model, and a car called Dymaxion in the 1930s.
But Fuller is an eccentric person. He uses three watches at a time to show time based on different time zones, when flying abroad.
Over the years, he only slept 2 hours a day, which he called 'Dymaxion' sleep - but eventually he gave up because his fellow scientists could do something crazy: not sleep at all.
Fuller also spent a lot of time writing the chronicles of his life. From 1915 until his death in 1983, he wrote a diary of his life which he always updated every 15 minutes, how come it got it? The result is a pile of notes called Dymaxion chronofiles, 82 meters high and are now stored at Stanford University.
