Splinterlands Brawl Report #4 - 01/09/21 - Quora Towershead
Here comes another brawl report coming from the 
Captain Katie vs Quora Towershead.
Rule: Earthquake
Mana: 30
Battle: Watch battle
There is not much flying monsters in A/B monsters so I decided to use Tyrus Paladium for my summoner for 1 additional armor which will help in surviving a round in earthquake rule. Added healing monsters to increase the survival rate. I'm planning to make this a battle of who will survive the longest just like how we normally play in Noxious Fumes.
For the first round, All my monsters survived thanks to the additional armor and healing. while 3 of my oppents remaining. To bad that my gladiator does not manage to kill an enemy and his monsters died by earthquake. This might look good in terms of monster count but I don't see myself killing Quora.
The second round ended with 4v2 with my oponnent's Quora having full HP and one bloodlust charge.
Captain Katie killed cyclops and gained one bloodlust while Quora killed my Hydra both of them having 1 bloodlust charge. As you can see, additional bloodlust also increases Captain Katie's armor while both magic attack and melee attack increases in for Quora bringing her damage to 8 per round which makes here a killing machine with high survivability.
Her Quora can one shot my monsters now and I ended up losing this match.
Thoughts
Although I lost the match, I think my lineup was good this time and would have a huge winning percentage. I was quite unfortunate to be paired up with Quora Towershead. Quora Towershead was one of the most OP gladiator especially in Novice Leagues. Below are my thoughts on Quora Towershead.
- Self heal - Increases her survivability unlike other glads. Heal value could also increase once had enough blood lust charge.
- Hard to kill on novice leagues because of her heal, huge damage and bloodlust ability.
- 3 speed - decent speed plus with additional bloodlust also increases her dodge rate
- When paired with Llama, Quora will definitely be undefeated in 17 Mana Matchups.
- 10 Mana only which allows her to be placed in all mana caps when paired with Xander Foxwood
I hope that I could receive this Gladiator soon.
End Result
I did not win any match but 2 of my opponents fled which gave me a total of 2/3 wins.
By end of the brawl, I've managed to get 1508 merits which allows me to purchase one more Gladius pack. PIZZA 1 guild Rank #2 for this brawl with 1 win short from KNIGHTS OF PRAETORIA
